Center for Complex Engineering Systems
Tariq Alhindi is a research associate at the Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as well as dual master’s degrees from Syracuse University in computer science and engineering management. At Syracuse, Tariq worked part-time as a software engineer on campus. He also worked in the IT department in a local bank in Saudi Arabia before joining CCES. Tariq’s has a wide array of research interests that includes data mining and machine learning. He is mainly involved in two projects at CCES: City Schema and City Dynamics.
