Ali Al-Heji is a Research Associate at the Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) at KACST and MIT. He received a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, specializing in power systems and renewable integration. He also holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Materials engineering (Highest Honors). His research interests include solar PV technologies, renewable energy integration, power systems and networks, power electronics, and embedded systems. He is currently working on the National Power Systems Evolution Project and the Urban Energy Project.
